Decordec Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Decordec. By accessing or purchasing from www.decordec.com, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below. These terms ensure clarity, protect both parties, and support global operations for handcrafted, made-to-order rugs.

1. General Information

  • This website is operated by Decordec, a handmade rugs and carpets studio.

  • By visiting our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  • We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.

2. Products

  • All rugs are handmade and made-to-order, so slight variations in size, color, shading, or texture may occur.

  • Product images are for visual reference; actual rugs may vary due to craftsmanship and lighting.

  • Custom rugs (custom design, custom size, custom color) are non-returnable, non-refundable, and cannot be canceled once CAD/mockup approval is given or production has started.

3. Orders & Payments

  • Orders are confirmed only after full payment is received.

  • All payments are securely processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateway.

  • We do not store or access your complete card details.

  • Decordec reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

    • payment is flagged as high-risk,

    • incorrect pricing occurs,

    • the product is unavailable.

A full refund will be issued if we cancel the order from our side.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • We offer Worldwide Shipping via FedEx/DHL and domestic shipping via DTDC/Delhivery.

  • Standard processing time: 4–5 weeks for made-to-order rugs

  • Custom rugs may require 5–6 weeks depending on complexity.

  • Tracking details are shared once dispatch is complete.

  • Customs duties, import taxes, and local fees are set by your country and are not included in Decordec’s pricing. They must be paid by the buyer.

  • Delays due to customs inspection, weather, or courier operational issues are outside our control.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Since all rugs are handmade to order, returns or exchanges are not accepted.

  • If a rug arrives damaged or defective, notify us within 48 hours with photos/videos (unboxing recommended).

  • After review, a resolution may include repair, replacement, or partial refund depending on the case.

  • Approved refunds (rare cases only) will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

6. Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placing them.

  • After 24 hours — or once CAD approval is given for custom rugs — no cancellation is allowed as production begins immediately.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs, images, texts, brand assets, and product visuals on Decordec are the exclusive property of Decordec.
Reproduction, distribution, or use without permission is strictly prohibited.
This includes design elements consistent with Decordec’s brand and photography standards .

8. Limitation of Liability

Decordec is not responsible for:

  • delays caused by customs, couriers, weather, or events beyond our control,

  • indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,

  • color differences due to screen variations,

  • issues arising from incorrect addresses provided by the buyer.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
All disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh.
